the sock · why it exists
the studio-bin socks were embarrassing.
01 — the why
a class a week, and nothing to wear to it.
Lina started in a reformer studio in downtown New York, with one pair of grip socks that had another studio’s name on them. The cute ones slid. The serious ones looked like something a doctor would hand you. Nobody made the pair you’d actually choose.
So we made one. Five toe pockets, because feet balance better when toes can spread. Full-sole grip, because the point is to hold the carriage. A dense, soft knit in colours you already wear. One size, made with real stretch. Small batches, from New York.
No logo on the cuff. No wellness speech. A well-made sock, designed like something you’d want to keep.

02 — what it is
feels like nothing. holds like everything.
Five toe pockets, so your toes spread and grip the footbar instead of sliding around inside the sock. Full-sole grip that holds through footwork and planks. A dense, soft cotton knit that moves the way your feet do.
84% cotton · 14% nylon · 2% elastane
five toe pockets · full-sole grip · one size, fits us 6–10
wash cold, inside out · air dry · designed in new york
03 — made properly
the details are in the make.
small batches · new york · first drop november
01
hand-linked toes
Each toe pocket is closed by hand-linking, not a seam you can feel. It’s the slow way to finish a sock, and the only way that works for five toes.
02
a dense, fine-gauge knit
Knitted on a fine gauge so it feels dense and soft. Cotton for the hand, nylon for the hold, a little elastane so one size actually fits a 6 and a 10.
03
grip printed to our pattern
Full-sole silicone, tone-on-tone, in our own dot pattern with the name set into it. Grip under every toe, not just the ball of the foot.
04
design that keeps quiet
Toe pockets in a second colour. Nothing on the cuff. Colours you already own. The details are in the make, not on the label.
